Lyndon Read
Lyndon Read has a background in engineering and has over 20 years’ experience as a landscape design and construction expert. Lyndon studied landscape design at The College of Garden design under Robin Williams and Lucy Huntington, winners of various prestigious awards.
In his youth Lyndon and his brother Martin were British Canadian double-canoeists ranked within the UK’s top-ten, representing their country n competitions home and abroad.
In his spare time Lyndon regularly hill-walks in the Lake district and Welsh Mountains combining his love of walking raising money for charities including Cancer Research (Action for Charity) and the Waterloo School’s Charity www.waterloo-schools.org in Sierra Leone where in 2006 Lyndon project-managed the redevelopment of classrooms at the primary and secondary schools. Lyndon also recently completed the Annapurna cicuit in Nepal.
Back home Lyndon also keeps twelve breeds of free-range hens, selling the eggs for the Waterloo School’s charity.
